The Silent Land

A Winter Experience In The Boreal Forest

Experience the stillness of The Boreal Winter

Are you ready for a new challenge? One that only a select few get to experience, yet delivers incredible opportunities to see the boreal forest environment in a different way? Then a winter trip deep into the wilds of Woodland Caribou Provincial Park is for you!

Our premier winter package takes you and your trip-mates into the heart of Woodland Caribou Provincial Park to explore the landscape by snowmobile, snowshoe, and ski. Spend the week following in the tracks of caribou, moose, wolves, and lynx while you experience the Canadian wilderness in its most raw form.

By day, the forest comes alive with incredible vistas and winter scenery. Spend some time ice fishing for lake trout, walleye, and northern pike, or perhaps tracking a moose or a pack of wolves. The snowpack and consistent ice conditions allow for the perfect opportunities to locate and view the incredible wildlife of the park in their most natural environment.

By night, retreat to the luxury of our custom "hot tents". Light up the wood stove, take off the layers, and enjoy the simplicity of life in the park over the winter months. Great meals, hot beverages, and the ability to dry out your clothing each night make winter travel in the boreal a safe and comfortable experience.
