Walleye Primer

Incredible Fishing in the Haven Lake Walleye Loop

Stunning Landscape, Unforgettable Fishing

For those looking to maximize the fishing opportunities on their trip, this package offers the best walleye fishing within Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. Expect "100 fish days" to become a reality as you travel through this incredible boreal landscape within the central basin of the park.

Along the way, visit up to 3 sets of First Nations pictographs, countless waterfalls, and stellar campsites. This area of the park offers a high density of moose and wolves, as well as other boreal wildlife, such as bald eagles, lynx, beavers, otters, and caribou.

Mid-July though late August also offers up some amazing blueberries and raspberries on virtually every portage and campsite!

Short portages, varying landscape, and, of course, an incredible fishery make this package the top choice for anglers looking for the ultimate fishing fix. Your trip begins and ends with float plane service from our dock in Red Lake.
